I think this was the first restaurant I've been to in VirusTimes. It was close to closing time and it was pretty empty which was good. Servers and all staff wore masks and they were only seating every other booth. Also good. I had a chicken enchilada which was outstanding. Companion had one of the combo plates which she requested one of the items be packed for take away which they were happy to do and even asked if she wanted it cooked at the end of the meal which was thoughtful. Definitely RECOMMEND.

To start off with, the food was top notch! But first, a quick rundown. We dined in, although pick-up and delivery are both options. Covid19- all the staff I saw were wearing masks. The available tables were really stretched out, I think the closest party was at least 12 feet away. No condiments on the table, salt and sweetner were provided in small packets as requested. Now let's get to the good part. We both had a #11 combo; beef taco and cheese enchilada - no sides. The tacos were perfect; the well seasoned shredded beef was hot and tender. The enchiladas had just the right amount of nicely melted cheddar, and covered but not drowning in red sauce. At about 12 per plate, they weren't cheap. Add 5 for drinks and tax brought the total to over 30. Another 6 for the tip and we now thru most of a 50 bill. Well with the trip though!

Fabulous service, authentic Mexican food and great atmosphere. From the family photos on the wall to the best margarita I’ve ever had, we will be visiting Manuel’s every time we come to Phoenix.

Manuel's is my favorite local Mexican restaurant. I've been eating there for 50 years. I had lunch special A, chimi, beans and rice. Choice of meat, I had carnitas. Delicious! I cleaned my plate!! Service always good, chips and salsa fresh and tasty. Great meal!!
